Chris Emery is an author and former White House insider who spent nearly a decade serving in the Executive Residence. After twenty-nine years in federal service, he turned to writing books inspired by history, power, and the human stories behind public life.

He is the author of five books. He began writing with a memoir about his years inside the White House and has since explored Washington mysteries, bedtime stories, and now an epic work of historical fiction.
